What is the difference between nickel-plated products and products made of stainless steel?

Instruments made of carbon steel, usually C45, are very susceptible to moisture and would rust if they weren't nickel-plated. However, the nickel plating only offers limited protection against rust and should therefore always be thoroughly dried and stored in a dry place. Instruments made of stainless steel do not have this problem.

Can I also cut my fingernails with cuticle scissors?

No, please only use the scissors for their intended purpose, as you could damage them otherwise.

What are combination scissors?

Combination scissors are a combination of cuticle and nail scissors. They have wide blades to easily cut even thick nails and a fine manicure tip for precisely trimming cuticles.

Can I sterilize all the instruments?

No, only instruments made of stainless steel can be sterilized without any problems.

Questions about the online shop:

Can I customize the manicure sets with other instruments?

No, unfortunately, that's not possible. All the loops are specifically sewn for the instruments shown in the case; other instruments wouldn't fit.

I'd like to have my order delivered to a parcel locker, but I can't find that option.

We ship with UPS, so we don't deliver to parcel lockers.

I ordered a pair of scissors, and now the screw is loose and I can't tighten it. What should I do?

You should never try to tighten the screw on a pair of scissors yourself. The threads on the small screw are so delicate that you would damage them. If the screw comes loose on its own, that's the reason—it's not a quality defect; it's simply because the threads can become damaged through use. Send us the scissors, we'll repair them free of charge and send them back to you.

I don't like the items I ordered, what now?

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason and return the items to us. We'll refund you the purchase price using the same payment method you used.

I live nearby, can I pick up my order directly from you?

Yes, that's possible, but the purchase must be paid for online beforehand. Once we receive your payment, we can hand over the goods to you in person. You can use the discount code "keinversand" to save on shipping costs, provided your order total is below the minimum for free shipping.
